City Water Division to Host Town Halls for Residents
Opportunity for Citizens to Share Questions or Concerns
Director of Public Utilities Niraj Patel, P.E. and Special Assistant to the Water Commissioner Spencer Gould will host a series of April town halls which will address the recent rate sufficiency study and City of St. Louis Water rates.
The first meeting will take place on Wednesday, April 8 from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. at ArchWell Health Center, 1315 Aubert Avenue, with another meeting scheduled the following week on Thursday, April 21 from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Buder Library, 4401 Hampton Avenue.
These town halls are part of the Water Division’s ongoing commitment to community outreach and providing opportunities for citizens’ voices to be heard.
According to Special Assistant Gould, “The Water Division is committed to engaging directly with the community to ensure residents have a say in upcoming rate decisions, and we recognize that good public engagement is key to both navigating this process and preparing our system for the future.”
Director Patel and Special Assistant Gould will make a short presentation and then open the floor to questions from both those in attendance and those who have submitted beforehand.
Additionally, Water Division customer service representatives will be on hand to meet personally with customers to discuss their accounts and provide information on the current temporary assistance program.
Those with questions or comments who are unable to attend are encouraged to visit stlwater.com and fill out the form on the Division’s rate review page. They may also submit questions to the Public Information Officer at the email below.
STL-TV will stream each town hall live and will make recordings available for later viewing.
Citizens can also follow the City of St. Louis Water Division’s social media channels for other updates and announcements regarding the town halls.
